Why:
It is so easy to look at this thing quickly and think you see the core, but standing in front of it you see the majestic work it must have been to make. To the thread, this is art extravaganza.
And beyond that, the story told is so true. Bitter sweet, the couple striving to be something that they will never be and should not be because it is dying anyway.
I like that it basically says that you better choose your own path rather than striving to something that seems so ideal, but in essence is struggling to survive. Not so shiny at all.
